Color Walk

Cut small pieces of construction paper in as many colors as you have (about 2 inch squares). Punch a hole in the corners and secure them together with a ring or paper fastener. Take the little booklet and a pen with you on a walk outside. As the children tell you things they see and what color they are, write them down on the correct color construction paper (or just make a mark to count later).
